Maserati part number 980145156 is the right hand (RH) lower plug for the following Maserati models:

• GranCabrio (2009-2019).
• GranTurismo (2007-2019).
• Quattroporte (2013-2016).

The purpose of this plug is to seal the lower drain hole on the engine oil pan. This prevents oil from leaking out of the engine.

The plug is made of durable metal and has a rubber gasket to ensure a tight seal. It is important to replace the plug at regular intervals, or whenever it shows signs of wear or damage.

Here are the steps on how to replace the RH lower plug:

1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
3. Place an oil drain pan under the lower drain hole on the engine oil pan.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the RH lower plug.
5. Allow the oil to drain into the pan.
6. Once the oil has drained, clean the threads on the oil pan and the plug.
7. Apply a thin coat of new gasket sealant to the threads of the plug.
8. Screw the plug back into the oil pan by hand until it is snug.
9. Use a torque wrench to tighten the plug to the manufacturer's specifications.
10. Remove the oil drain pan and dispose of the used oil properly.
11. Start the engine and check for leaks.
