The Maserati part number 670002200 front lambda sensor is a wideband oxygen sensor that measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas. It is located in the exhaust manifold, upstream of the catalytic converter.

The lambda sensor is used by the engine control unit (ECU) to adjust the air-fuel ratio. The ECU uses the information from the lambda sensor to determine whether the engine is running lean (too much air) or rich (too much fuel). The ECU then adjusts the amount of fuel injected into the engine to achieve the ideal air-fuel ratio.

The ideal air-fuel ratio is important for several reasons:

• It maximizes fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.
• It prevents the engine from running too hot or too cold.
• It improves engine performance and durability.
